UIL is the Bridge Architect for this pedestrian and bicycle bridge over I-89 in South Burlington, Vermont. UIL worked closely with the community and stakeholder groups to develop a range of concepts emphasizing various themes. Elements from two of these concepts were combined into a final option which won unanimous approval from the City Council and strong support from the community. The preferred concept will be developed into a final design package and construction is expected to begin in 2025.
